Description

The Financial Planning Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organisation's financial goals by coordinating financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. He/she are responsible for creating variance analysis reports and financial models, as well as monitoring financial performance in collaboration with the Head of Finance Control & Treasury. The analyst conducts both quantitative and qualitative analyses of operational and financial data for portfolio companies and the Investment Holding Company (IHC), escalating any financial issues to management for timely resolution.

Experience and Qualification

• First degree in economics, accounting, or a numerate discipline. A postgraduate qualification (MBA, MSc in Finance) is desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a Big 4 firm, investment bank, or consulting firm
• Any relevant professional certifications (ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Keen attention to detail with the capacity to recognize data patterns
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills
