Honeywell Group, has completed its exit from First Holdco Plc.

This step marks the culmination of a carefully considered strategic decision aligned with our philosophy of responsible stewardship, continuous portfolio realignment, and long-term value creation.

This milestone brings to a close our chapter as significant shareholders in one of Nigeria’s most historic and vital financial institutions. Our involvement with First Bank spanned more than four decades, a journey marked by transformation, resilience, and a profound sense of duty. Over the years, we have had the privilege of contributing to the Bank’s evolution, supporting its growth from a legacy institution into a dynamic player on the African financial stage.

We are proud to have played a meaningful role in pivotal moments of the Bank’s evolution and remain deeply honoured by the relationship our Chairman, our Group, and our representatives have shared with the institution over the years. For our Chairman, this journey was a personal calling, grounded in his commitment to nation-building and his enduring belief in the power of indigenous institutions to shape Nigeria’s future.
